The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

The EYFS is a statutory framework that ensures that your child's learning and development needs are met as well as all of their welfare needs. It ensures that in order to meet all of the needs of the children, childcare providers must provide a setting that is safe, secure and stimulating.

The EYFS is divided into seven areas of learning:
