A Little About Myself

My name is Liz (although the children call me Lizzie), and I live in Four Marks, Hampshire, with my husband, Andrew. Our two children are now grown up, but family life is still at the heart of everything we do. We love spending time outdoors, whether that's in our garden, at our allotment, enjoying local days out or keeping active together. I also enjoy practising yoga, which helps me bring a calm, balanced approach to both home life and my childminding setting.

Working with children has been my passion for over 30 years. I am a qualified primary school teacher and spent 15 years teaching in Early Years and Key Stage 1 before becoming a childminder. This experience has given me a strong understanding of how young children learn and develop, while reinforcing my belief that the best learning happens through play, exploration and nurturing relationships.

I have been an Ofsted-registered childminder for over 14 years, including three years in Surrey and the past eleven years in Hampshire. I regularly update my knowledge through ongoing professional development and hold current Paediatric First Aid and Safeguarding qualifications, alongside a range of early years training. I am committed to providing a safe, caring and inspiring environment where every child feels valued, secure and able to flourish.
